Job summary

Boots is seeking a Business Analyst - Integration to support the integrations workstream within a major HR transformation programme. You will partner with stakeholders and delivery teams to define, document and trace integration requirements across API, middleware, and event-driven landscapes.

The role requires strong analysis, stakeholder management and the ability to translate business needs into technical specs, with emphasis on data flows and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience on enterprise integration programmes with API, middleware, event streaming and file-based integrations.
• Excellent elicitation, analysis and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and data mapping.
• Ability to document high-quality technical requirements and maintain traceability.

Responsibilities

• Understand integration requirements and document data flows.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs.
• Define source-to-target mappings and interface specs.
• Support MuleSoft, Kafka and MFT integration patterns.
• Ensure traceability across requirements, design, testing and deployment.
• Assist with integration testing, defect triage and deployment.
• Ensure security, GDPR and enterprise integration standards.
• Communicate complex integration concepts in business language.
