Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Business Analyst – Integration in Nottingham to support a major HR transformation programme. You will bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams, defining and managing integration requirements across API, file-based and event-driven landscapes.

Key responsibilities include documenting data flows, creating functional/technical specs and ensuring traceability through test and deployment phases. Fixed-term role (18 months) with strong integration focus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise integration programmes.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into detailed specs.
• Proven track record of documenting traceable integration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand integration requirements with HR, IT and stakeholders and document data flows.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Define mappings, interface specs and transformation requirements.
• Support design of integration patterns and document API/file-based/event-driven requirements.
• Ensure traceability from requirements through design, testing and deployment.
• Assist with integration testing, defect triage and deployment activities.
• Ensure requirements align with security, GDPR and enterprise standards.
• Communicate complex concepts in business-friendly language.
