Job summary

Boots Nottingham is seeking a Solution Architect - Data Integration to lead data migrations and integrations for a major HR transformation programme. You will define target architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives.

You will work with the Portfolio Technical Lead and development teams, designing end-to-end data models, integration patterns, security frameworks, and governance, while guiding third parties and shared services.

Qualifications

• Experience of at least two large transformation programmes.
• Deep knowledge of data migrations or integrations standards and tools.
• Proven experience defining target operating models and integration architectures.
• Experience on large HR transformation programmes across geographies.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and SaaS best practices.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall data migrations or integrations High Level Design for the programme.
• Translate business requirements into robust, integrated solution designs.
• Create end-to-end process flows, data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks.
• Define configuration standards, design principles, and architectural guardrails.
• Ensure designs are understood by project teams including third parties.
• Advise on testing, non-functional, operational and technical requirements.
• Act as the primary technical advisor to HR leadership and IT executives.
• Facilitate design workshops and solution walkthroughs.
