Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Design Delivery Manager to lead the integrated design and consenting programmes for a major UK rail infrastructure project. You will coordinate multiple design disciplines, ensure buildability and alignment with the overall programme, and drive timely decisions with stakeholders.

You will work with the Design Discipline leads and SMT to deliver a consistent approach, manage design risk and commercial aspects, and ensure compliance with CDM 2015.

Qualifications

• Design Management in large scale projects, leading and overseeing major civil engineering works within utilities.
• Timely and integrated delivery of design and design-related consents.
• Management of commercial aspects of design contracts with a focus on overall performance.
• Strong communication skills at multiple organizational levels, internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Manage, enable and monitor timely delivery of the integrated design and design-consenting programmes.
• Overall technical accountability on the coordination of all designs involving multiple design disciplines and their buildability.
• Collaborate with Design Discipline leads and SMT to ensure a consistent approach across the project and compliance with EKFB plans.
• Support the design risk management and commercial management of designers, with liaison from project controls and commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with the CDM 2015 Regulations.
