Job summary

High Speed Two Ltd is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the EKFB Main Works Civils contract, working within the client-side Integrated Project Team. You will focus on improving engineering processes, resolving recurring technical issues and standardising approaches across ~80km of HS2 infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience on major civil/infrastructure projects.
• Experience improving engineering processes and delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of technical assurance and governance.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Chartered engineer status or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring problems and lead practical solutions across the EKFB route.
• Improve processes and standardise engineering approaches across sites.
• Influence engineering, design and construction teams to adopt improvements.
• Support engineering risk management and assurance across the contract.
• Ensure engineering requirements are applied consistently.
