Job summary

Howden, a global insurance group, is seeking a Customer Renewal Advisor for its Commercial Schemes team, supporting Protect My Let. Based in Colchester or Cheltenham, this fixed-term contract offers flexible hours and a customer-focused role renewing existing client policies and tailoring cover.

You will build relationships, handle renewals via phone and email, and work toward team targets while delivering excellent service and opportunities to add value.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, renewals or administration.
• Strong communication skills over phone and email.
• Ability to work in a flexible role (hybrid/part-time options).
• GCSEs including Maths and English; A Levels desirable; Cert CII desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, insurers and colleagues.
• Contact existing clients regarding policy renewals.
• Understand customers’ needs and identify suitable insurance solutions.
• Deliver high-quality service via phone and email.
• Handle enquiries promptly and accurately.
• Process renewals and policy adjustments.
