Job summary

Howden is a global insurance group seeking an Insurance Policy Administrator to provide administrative and technical support to the CTIS team. You will draft, issue and maintain policy documentation, discuss with insurers and clients, and ensure accurate records and compliance with internal standards.

You will ensure policy templates are maintained and assist in applying policy wordings under senior guidance, with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting, processing or administering insurance policy documentation.
• Excellent written communication with professional policy documents.
• Strong attention to detail and document checking skills.
• Experience in policy issuance, renewals or technical documentation.
• Organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Understanding of FCA requirements and insurance regulatory standards.
• Cert CII (or working towards) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Draft, prepare and maintain insurance policy documentation, endorsements, renewals and records.
• Review policy documentation for accuracy and compliance with insurer requirements.
• Produce policy schedules, certificates and supporting documents.
• Liaise with team, insurers and clients for policy issuance and amendments.
• Ensure policy documentation is recorded and maintained in systems.
• Maintain insurer logs and ensure information is current.
• Support development of policy templates and standard wording.
• Interpret and apply policy wordings under guidance of seniors.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies before issuance.
• Maintain understanding of policy structures and documentation requirements.
