Job summary

Howden Group Services Limited is seeking an aspiring candidate for an entry-level claims admin role. You will provide administrative support, process new claims, and assist underwriters while learning the claims process.

Working under a line manager, you will develop knowledge of claims procedures, comply with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with internal teams. Hybrid working options may be available to suit needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an office environment and looking to start a career in insurance.
• Training role, so no previous insurance experience required.
• Good level of numeracy and literacy.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing, verbally and face to face.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software.

Responsibilities

• Identify priorities and undertake work activities to achieve personal and team objectives.
• Provide relevant management information to senior management.
• Process new claims and, under supervision, notify underwriters and clients of responses.
• Ensure documentation is up to date to enable compliant responses and tracking.
• Maintain accurate records on Group systems to support client service.
