Howden in Milton Keynes is hiring a Claims Technician to administer claims and provide technical/administrative support. You will work with senior staff to learn claims processes, maintain records, and ensure timely communication with clients and underwriters.

Qualifications

• Office-based experience and an interest in insurance.
• Good numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of the line manager, identify priorities and work to personal and team objectives.
• Provide admin support to claims processes and projects.
• Review new claims and notify underwriters and clients of responses where required.
• Set up notifications/claims on relevant systems and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain up-to-date records on group systems and ensure compliant documentation.
• Support timely processing of collections and payments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share information and identify improvements.
