Howden Group is seeking a motivated Trainee Claims Technician to join our claims administration team in Milton Keynes. You will learn the basics of claims handling while providing essential admin support and maintaining accurate records.

You will work with experienced colleagues to develop technical knowledge, process payments, and communicate updates to clients and insurers, contributing to excellent client service and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• A-level standard education (or equivalent).
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Interest in pursuing insurance-related qualifications is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day administration of insurance claims.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining claim records on company systems.
• Acknowledge new claims and update clients and insurers.
• Prepare and manage documentation to support claims handling activities.
• Process payments, collections, and other claims-related information.
• Respond to queries and escalate complex issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver client service.
• Learn and follow regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement.
