Job summary

NFU Mutual Bridgnorth Agency is seeking an Account Handler for a full-time, permanent position based in Bridgnorth. You will support Agents with day-to-day account management and deliver high-quality personal service to customers.

Key duties include preparing documents for reviews, maintaining accurate records, handling enquiries, and assisting with renewals and new business. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Agents with managing customer accounts and day-to-day administrative support.
• Preparing account information, correspondence, policy documents and other materials for customer meetings and reviews.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Handling customer enquiries by telephone, email and in person in a professional and helpful manner.
• Supporting customers with new business, renewals and changes to their insurance policies.
• Gathering accurate information to understand customers’ circumstances and insurance requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and ensuring account actions are completed promptly.
• Liaising with customers, colleagues and NFU Mutual teams on behalf of the Agents to provide a smooth and responsive service.
• Monitoring outstanding account actions, following up where required and helping the Agents manage priorities and deadlines.
• Identifying opportunities to support customers with wider insurance needs and referring enquiries to the appropriate colleague.
