Job summary

Howden in Manchester is recruiting for its High Net-Worth Insurance Apprenticeship Programme 2027. Start September 2027, salary £23,000, 18-month development programme, and a permanent role from day one.

You’ll work in the office at least 3 days per week and must live within a commutable distance. You’ll join the Private Clients team, learn high net-worth motor and home insurance, build trusted client relationships, and complete a Level 3 Insurance apprenticeship, with fully funded professional

Qualifications

Must have full and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
Have lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years.
Must have GCSE English and Maths grade C/4.

Responsibilities

Learn the foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance, and how an Account Handler supports clients.
Build your confidence speaking with clients and understanding their individual insurance needs.
Help the team manage communications with insurers and underwriters to find appropriate insurance solutions for clients.
Learn how to manage client enquiries and provide clear, accurate information.
Learn how amendments to insurance policies are managed as well as the policy renewals process.
Develop strong relationships and provide a professional and personal service.
Support with maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
