Job summary

NFU Mutual in Cheshunt is seeking an Insurance Account Handler to join our local agency. In this full-time role you will handle customer enquiries, process policy changes and spot opportunities for growth, while delivering a proactive, friendly service.

You will need good communication, IT skills and ideally experience in Insurance or Financial Services; GCSEs at grade C in Maths and English; the ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance/Financial Services preferred but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems, products and processes.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Cheshunt Agency. **About the role:** As the Personal and Commercial Insurance Account Handler within our team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business whilst ensuring customers are always happy. Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries and complete insurance policy changes with a “can-do” proactive enthusiasm. You will also enjoy sales and spotting opportunities for growth. You will relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer focused, ambitious team. **About you:** * Experience of working in the Insurance/Financial Services industry is preferred, but not essential, with a good understanding of compliance procedures* The ability and desire to learn new systems, products, processes and skills* Someone who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients* Pro-active with the ability to work independently* A confident & effective communicator, both written and verbal* A proficient IT user with good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
