At Jensten Motor Trade, we’re seeking a Commercial Account Handler to provide exceptional service to our clients, support business growth, and oversee the account handler team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and growing insurance broker.

As one of the top providers of specialist, exclusive, and cost-effective insurance products, we focus on delivering outstanding service. You’ll work directly with our team in Bexleyheath, with the opportunity for hybrid working once training is complete.

Key objectives & responsibilities:

1. Offer and present insurance solutions, including policies and risk management options, aiming to secure renewals.
2. Assist in team performance through regular communication with colleagues and managers, raising concerns and providing solutions.
3. Achieve or exceed income retention and policy count targets.
4. Understand clients’ business operations, opportunities, risks, and their approach to risk management and insurance.
5. Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations such as FCA.

About you:

As an Account Handler, you should possess good communication and written skills, with a keen eye for detail. You should be eager to develop your career, with access to excellent training and development opportunities within the insurance industry. You will likely have:

• Commercial Insurance experience is essential, ideally within Motor Trade.
• Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to client servicing and business growth.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and support junior colleagues.
• Experience with broking systems and diary management.
