Their Lloyd’s Broking house is highly respected and renowned globally for market knowledge, analysis, and insight. Their staff are motivated and aim for success in every transaction. Due to growth in the Technical Teams, a permanent Marine Technician role has arisen.
Your new role
As a Marine Technician, you will provide technical account handling and process support for Brokers and Directors. This is an end-to-end technical role with active client engagement. Responsibilities include preparing slips, underwriting information, cover notes, premiums, Contract Load Up, and relevant documentation, as well as assisting with business placement. You will liaise with clients and markets, maintain files, support Directors, Consultants, and Brokers, and handle premiums, cash allocations, collections, and other financial tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a Marine Technician and in an insurance environment is essential. You should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and be able to assemble broking presentation materials accurately. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with market knowledge and relations, are required.
