Hybrid home/North East Essex based role

Clark James Insurance Recruitment is working with a prestigious insurance broker currently looking to appoint an experienced commercially trained Account Handler to join their busy team.

The Role

Service a portfolio of business through renewals, adjustments, queries, and other issues that may arise on the accounts. You will also be actively involved in broking new business to market, liaising with insurers, and negotiating the best possible terms.

You will handle a wide range of classes of commercial business, including Property, Liability, Combined, Fleet, PA, among others. The broker also has a Lloyd's binder with several schemes covering areas such as Media, Entertainment, and Sports, making this a very interesting sector.

The Person

You should be a proven Insurance Account Handler, Broker, or Underwriter, looking to join a business expanding in its niche. Insurance qualifications are preferred but not essential for the right candidate who is committed, resilient, and experienced in multi-tasking.
