Our client, a leading name in the UK’s energy sector, is offering an exciting 12-month industrial placement within their Instrumentation & Control (I&C) division. This opportunity gives students the chance to gain hands‑on experience at one of the country’s most ambitious engineering and infrastructure developments — a site that will play a vital role in powering the UK for generations to come.

The Role

Working as part of the I&C team, placement students will gain exposure to the systems and technologies that underpin large‑scale power generation. The role involves supporting experienced engineers, contributing to safety and reliability initiatives, and applying academic knowledge to live technical challenges. Typical projects may include:
