Job summary

Quickline is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to superfast broadband. You’ll be out on the road, visiting customer sites to install, survey and document infrastructure, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.

You’ll liaise closely with customers, work safely at all times, and help drive quality outcomes across installations. A full driving licence and DBS check are required, with comfortable access to ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with FTTP/FWA knowledge.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to pass DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high installation quality at customer premises.
• Liaise with customers on installation routes and outcomes.
• Manage safe working environment with health & safety at all times.
• Carry out installation surveys and consider options to deliver service.
• Document installed equipment information and capture installation photos.

• Maintain a high quality standard of installation both internally and externally at our customers premises.

• You have experience in a similar role - Ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
• Customer care comes second nature to you.
• You have a full clean driving licence and can successfully pass a DBS check.
