TipTopJob is recruiting an SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Slough, supporting pupils aged 4-11 with SEMH and additional needs. You will plan engaging, differentiated lessons and deliver personalised support to promote academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

You will work with Teaching Assistants and external professionals to build confidence, resilience and life skills, while maintaining high safeguarding standards and inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience with SEN/SEMH is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and inclusive teaching.
  • Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons for diverse learners.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for primary pupils aged 4-11 with SEMH.
  • Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual needs and learning styles.
  • Support SEMH pupils to access learning and progress.
  • Create a safe, structured, inclusive and nurturing classroom.
  • Build relationships with pupils and promote positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and staff to provide consistent support.
  • Contribute to EHCP outcomes and personalised targets.
  • Participate in school meetings, training and the wider life of the school.
