Zusammenfassung

TLTP Education is seeking an SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Slough, supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH and additional needs. You will deliver engaging, highly differentiated lessons that promote academic progress, emotional wellbeing and independence.

You will plan and assess pupil progress, collaborate with Teaching Assistants and external professionals, and contribute to individual learning plans while maintaining high expectations in a nurturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Experience working with pupils with SEN and/or SEMH is desirable.
• Strong understanding of SEMH and inclusive teaching approaches.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils aged 4–11.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Support pupils with SEMH to access learning and show progress.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment with structured routines.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support engagement and regulation.
• Develop personalised learning opportunities based on strengths and interests.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and wider staff to provide consistent support.
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and personalised targets.
• Attend school meetings and participate in professional development.
