Job summary

School Staffing Solutions in Leatherhead is seeking a compassionate SEN Teacher to join an inspiring team and help deliver a personalised learning experience for students aged 11–16 with Autism Spectrum Condition. You will hold QTS and bring experience with ASC/SEND in a special school, delivering a differentiated curriculum across multiple subjects within a supportive, inclusive setting.

This is a permanent 40-hour-per-week post during term time.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience of working in a special school with ASC/SEND.
• Differentiated curriculum delivery across diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and develop the curriculum to meet students' educational, physical, and social needs.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and maintain communication with parents/carers.
• Set, monitor, and review personalised targets, reporting progress.
• Plan structured, motivating lessons and reflect on teaching practice.
• Contribute to EHCPs, PEPs, and LAC meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date autism knowledge and professional development.
• Support curriculum development and uphold high standards of conduct.
• Manage delegated budgets and address challenging behaviour per policy.
