Job summary

Riseley Green School is seeking an inspiring Primary SEN Teacher to deliver the Primary curriculum to students aged 4–16 with autism. You will work in a specialist setting with small classes, supported by a dedicated team of teaching assistants and therapists.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Primary aged pupils
• Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum and adaptations for diverse needs
• Creative and flexible teaching approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with TAs, therapists and families

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned to the Primary curriculum
• Adapt curriculum to meet a range of Special Educational Needs
• Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and other professionals
