Waterloo Lodge is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher of Maths who is passionate about helping children with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs develop confidence and skills. You will deliver engaging maths lessons and adapt learning to individual needs, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

This role goes beyond traditional teaching: you will monitor progress, contribute to a creative maths curriculum, and collaborate with therapists and support staff to create a personalised

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or eligible for QTS/QTLS (ECT applicants welcome).
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Passionate about supporting children with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Creative, adaptable and committed to personalised learning.
• Clear communicator within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons that inspire pupils and support progress.
• Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Monitor, assess and report pupil progress to inform teaching.
• Contribute to an innovative and engaging Maths curriculum.
• Support pupils' confidence, wellbeing and positive engagement.
• Collaborate with therapists and support staff to deliver personalised learning.
• Teach across other curriculum areas when appropriate and support off-site activities.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can flourish.
