Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our manufacturing operation in a highly regulated environment. You will lead production teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement.

You will coach Team Leaders, implement Lean initiatives, partner with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, and ensure health, safety and quality standards are met while delivering measurable productivity and quality gains.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
• Ideally, experience within Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong people management skills, with a genuine passion for developing and supporting teams.
• A solid understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen.
• Demonstrable experience delivering measurable improvements across manufacturing operations.
• An approachable, engaging leadership style with the ability to influence and motivate employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop production teams, creating a positive, high-performing working environment.
• Coach and mentor Team Leaders and Supervisors, supporting their development and progression.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving and operational excellence.
• Improve manufacturing performance across productivity, quality, waste reduction and efficiency.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and employee engagement.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality compliance.
