Job summary

Jobsinkent is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and develop production teams in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operations.

You will drive Lean Manufacturing, optimise processes, manage production planning and KPIs, reduce waste, and promote a culture of teamwork, accountability and high standards.

This permanent role offers a competitive salary in the £50k–£55k range and a range of company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Manager or senior manufacturing leadership.
• Experience leading teams, production planning and KPI management.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Proactive, results-driven with commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.
• 5+ years in a senior manufacturing leadership role.
• Experience implementing lean processes in a lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop production teams.
• Manage production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Monitor production KPIs and meet quality and delivery targets.
• Reduce waste, improve productivity and control inventory costs.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality.
• Collaborate across departments to meet business objectives.
