Job summary

Andrecruit Group Ltd. is seeking a Production Manager for a permanent role in West London. The ideal candidate will have a machine shop/precision engineering background and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities include implementing performance roadmaps, managing attendance, and leading safety and compliance programs while driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification is beneficial; mechanical background preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP or equivalent MRP scheduling systems.
• Forward-thinking with Lean manufacturing and CI experience.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven successful leader in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing road map and metrics aligned with customer demand in collaboration with site manager.
• Manage staff attendance and holiday entitlement.
• Participate in daily production meetings to stay aligned with business needs.
• Raise issues in online systems concerning performance and material availability impacting delivery.
• Create and implement best practices in manufacturing, policies and quality.
• Manage regular stock checks to ensure WIP and MRP accuracy, flag discrepancies.
• Ensure site operation complies with COSHH, ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
• Lead incident investigations and practice root-cause analysis.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Team management including coaching, appraisals, KPI reviews, and disciplinary matters.
• Manage budgets including overtime and headcount aligned to demand and flex costs.
• Drive preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
