Milk Education is working with welcoming primary schools across Crook and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Primary Teachers to join schools from September 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in a Primary School setting preferred.
• ECTs encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong understanding of assessment and pupil progress.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
