Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Rotherham area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to develop their career.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, create an inclusive classroom, assess pupil progress and work with colleagues and families. Start date: September 2026. QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Has a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
• Has excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to safeguarding.
• Works effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate feedback.
