Job summary

Milk Education is partnering with a South Shields primary school to recruit an Early Years Primary Teacher from September 2026. The role welcomes experienced teachers and ECTs, with a focus on EYFS delivery, assessment, differentiation and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum (EYFS).
• Experience in Early Years is desirable; ECTs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Early Years lessons in line with EYFS.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress and differentiate learning.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and wider school team.
