Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming set of schools in Hartlepool, Durham and surrounding areas for the 2026/27 academic year. Whether you're an experienced teacher, an ECT or seeking a new long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll plan and deliver engaging lessons, create an inclusive classroom, differentiate for all pupils and monitor progress, while building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers welcome.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Completion of the required KCSIE safeguarding training/course, or willingness to complete this as part of the onboarding process.

As a Primary Teacher, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, supporting pupils to achieve their potential and making a real difference to their education.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
