Job summary

Weston College is seeking a Personal Development Tutor (Term-Time Only) to inspire and guide students across a wide range of employability and life-skills activities. The role is 22 hours per week during term time, 39 weeks per year, with pattern Tue-Thu mornings and Fri mornings as per the advert.

You'll support learners to develop confidence, resilience, and progression into further study, apprenticeships, or work, working closely with curriculum and support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or adults in an education or support setting.
• Awareness of issues shaping learners' lives and work today.
• Understanding challenges young people face as they progress through education and into work.
• Organised, motivated, and able to engage and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group tutorials on digital wellbeing and learner skills.
• Support learners to secure work placements and progression.
• Collaborate with curriculum and support staff to plan life-skill activities.
• Motivate and guide students to stay engaged and achieve next steps.
