Weston College in Weston-super-Mare is seeking Personal Development Tutors to inspire and guide students. You’ll help learners develop life skills and confidence, working with curriculum teams to support progression to university, apprenticeships or work.

The role uses the College's STEPS framework to foster Skills, Topical Points, Engagement, Progression and Self-Management, with two term-time options and on-site duties across campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or adults in education or support settings.
• Awareness of issues shaping learners’ lives and work today.
• Organised, motivated, and able to engage and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group tutorials on digital wellbeing.
• Help students secure their first work placement.
• Plan life skills and knowledge development activities with colleagues.
