Reeson Education in London is seeking an inspiring Maths Teacher to work at a specialist school in Chiswick. You will deliver high-quality maths lessons to pupils with Special Educational Needs and adapt your approach to meet varied learning needs.

The role requires QTS or equivalent and experience in mainstream year groups, with SEND expertise. You'll collaborate with assistants and therapists to create personalised plans and help students progress toward GCSE Foundation Maths.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in mainstream secondary schools.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Good knowledge of Functional Skills Maths.
• Experience teaching GCSE Foundation Maths (desirable).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, pupil-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach pupils working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications.
• Deliver GCSE Foundation Maths to appropriate learners.
• Adapt lessons to meet a wide range of abilities and learning profiles.
• Monitor progress and develop personalised learning plans.
• Work alongside teaching assistants, therapists and pastoral teams.
• Inspire confidence and practical life skills through mathematics.
