Job summary

Park School, part of Outcomes First Group, is seeking a Maths Teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons and support pupils across secondary age ranges. You will foster an inclusive environment and collaborate with the wider team, families and external professionals to support each pupil's progress.

QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification is required, with experience in SEN or specialist settings desirable. A strong commitment to high expectations and pupil wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Maths to secondary age pupils.
• High expectations and belief that every child can succeed.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
• SEN or specialist setting experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated Maths lessons that inspire every learner.
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching to help pupils achieve targets.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside academics.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
