Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics for a modern secondary academy in Slough. The role covers KS3 to KS5 with an ASAP start and a full-time, permanent or long-term contract, paid to scale on MPS/UPS.

You will deliver engaging mathematics lessons, foster numerical fluency, and support students through assessment, revision workshops and digital learning tools to build confidence and problem-solving resilience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK teaching credentials.
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and ability to challenge ambitious pupils.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS3–KS5 mathematics with engaging lessons.
• Plan lessons building numerical fluency and problem-solving resilience.
• Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level exams with structured assessment and feedback.
• Utilize digital learning platforms to support understanding.
• Track progress and report on student performance.
• Fulfill pastoral duties as Form Tutor.
