Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an articulate Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 A-Level delivery based on experience. You will work in a well-resourced Maths department, building fluency and problem-solving while preparing students for GCSE and functional numeracy.

The role includes occasional Post-16 delivery, targeted interventions, and pastoral responsibilities as Form Tutor within a supportive academy in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a maths-related degree.
• Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 in a UK mainstream secondary school or academy.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum delivery across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Edexcel/AQA GCSE specs).
• Optional Post-16 delivery: A-Level Maths or Level 3 Core Maths where applicable.
• Diagnostic assessment and targeted interventions to close attainment gaps.
• Support maths extension and after-school revision initiatives.
• Serve as Form Tutor and contribute to pastoral responsibilities.
