Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a high-performing Bolton secondary school to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its teaching team from September 2026. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have experience teaching maths across KS3 and KS4, and demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, classroom management and strong communication with students, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Confident teaching KS5 (desirable).
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and passion for education.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Maths across KS3/KS4 with potential KS5 where appropriate.
• Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards.
