Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a Swindon secondary academy in recruiting an inspirational Teacher of Mathematics. You will deliver stimulating Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 A-Level delivery, helping students build confidence and problem-solving skills.

The role is full-time with immediate start, offering a scalable MPS/UPS salary and modern classrooms with digital tools. A strong focus on progression and revision support will be part of the daily routine.

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching credentials (PGCE/SCITT).
Deep subject knowledge and ability to stretch mathematically ambitious pupils.
Active DBS check on Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

Teach engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3/KS4 and potential KS5.
Plan and deliver lessons building numerical fluency and problem-solving resilience.
Guide GCSE and A-Level pupils through structured assessment and exam prep.
Utilise digital platforms and software to enhance understanding.
Assess, track, and report student progress across mock exams and classwork.
Fulfill pastoral duties as Form Tutor and support wellbeing.
