Job summary

Chorlton High School in Manchester is seeking a Teacher of Maths to drive high standards in teaching, learning and achievement. The post holder will ensure all students make strong progress and will be accountable to the Curriculum Leader and Headteacher.

The role emphasises inclusive practice, collaboration with the Maths team, and contributing to curriculum development and school improvement priorities. Temporary position for Jan 2027–Aug 2027, with flexible hours (FT or PT).

• Work collaboratively within the Maths team to support the school’s vision
• Reflect on and improve practice through professional development and shared expertise
• Support curriculum development, examinations and school improvement priorities
• Participate in meetings, duties and enrichment activities as required
• Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external partners
