Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Maths Teacher for a high-performing secondary school in Southampton to start September 2026. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching possible, within a collaborative department dedicated to high standards and student wellbeing.

Applicants must hold QTS and have experience across KS3-4; KS5 teaching is desirable. A commitment to inclusion and ongoing professional development is essential, with a right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and experience teaching across KS3 and KS4.
• Be confident teaching KS5 (desirable but not essential).
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for education.
• Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Teach your specialist subject across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver KS5 lessons where appropriate.
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and departmental initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
