Job summary

Park School is part of OFG Education and is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to inspire learners and bring maths to life through creative, personalised teaching. You will deliver engaging lessons, support student confidence and independence, and work within a multidisciplinary team.

The role is permanent and term-time only, with 37.5 hours per week, starting November 2026. Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience. UK applicants only; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching Maths across secondary age students.
• High expectations and a genuine belief that every child can succeed.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
• Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated Maths lessons that inspire every learner.
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that enables students to achieve their individual targets.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing and positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress, adapting teaching to maximise achievement.
• Use assessment strategies and digital recording tools to celebrate progress and inform future learning.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
• Support students' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
