Job summary

Outcomes First Group invites applications for a Maths Teacher at Park School in Chipping Norton. The role is permanent, term-time only, with a salary up to £48,000 per annum and 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire learners, tailor lessons, monitor progress and contribute to pastoral support and wider school life. Start in November 2026; UK applicants only; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to teach Maths in secondary education (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
  • Ability to plan differentiated lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
  • Willingness to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

Maths Teacher

Location: Park School, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only

Start: November 2026

About the Role

As our Maths Teacher, you'll do far more than deliver lessons, you'll inspire students to believe in their own potential. Through engaging, creative and highly personalised teaching, you'll bring maths to life, helping learners build confidence, overcome challenges and develop a genuine enjoyment of learning.

Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll create a supportive and nurturing classroom where every student feels valued, understood and empowered to succeed. By adapting your teaching to meet individual needs, you'll break down barriers to learning, celebrate every achievement and help young people develop the skills, resilience and independence they need for the future.

You'll also have the opportunity to make a lasting impact as a Form Tutor, providing guidance, encouragement and pastoral support that helps students thrive both academically and personally. Collaborating closely with families, Teaching Assistants and external professionals, you'll play a key role in creating a strong network of support, ensuring every young person has the opportunity to flourish and achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Use a range of assessment strategies and digital recording tools to celebrate progress and inform future learning.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
  • Support students' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
About You
  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.
  • Experience teaching Maths across secondary age students.
  • High expectations and a genuine belief that every child can succeed.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
  • The ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
  • Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting is desirable but not essential.
