OFG Education's Glebedale School in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Maths Teacher to inspire learners and bring maths to life through personalised, engaging teaching. You'll support development, resilience and confidence while creating a nurturing classroom where every student can succeed.

You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with families, professionals, and have the opportunity to be a Form Tutor.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Maths across varying age groups.
• High expectations and belief that every child can succeed.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated Maths lessons that inspire every learner.
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that enables students to achieve their targets.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing and positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress, adapting teaching to maximise achievement.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and digital recording tools to celebrate progress and inform future learning.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
• Support students' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
