Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 within a UK mainstream secondary school or academy setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Edexcel/AQA GCSE Mathematics specifications).
• Contribute to Key Stage 5 A-Level Mathematics or Level 3 Core Maths delivery where applicable.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, analyse pupil performance data, and implement targeted interventions.
• Support departmental extension initiatives and after‑school maths revision hubs.
• Serve as a Form Tutor and support pupils' welfare, academic progress, and character development.
