TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a specialist education provision based in Warwick. The role is permanent and full-time, with 37 hours per week (including 25 hours of teaching during the 39‑week teaching year).

The successful candidate will deliver GCSE Mathematics, support students with SEND/SEMH needs, and contribute to curriculum planning in a supportive, inclusive setting. QTS/ QTLS/ PGCE and a Mathematics degree are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or PGCE, alongside a degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject.
• Previous experience teaching GCSE Mathematics, with strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and examination specifications, including AQA, Edexcel or Eduqas.
• The ability to deliver engaging lessons across key mathematical topics, including Number, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability.
• Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH or English as an Additional Language (EAL) needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to differentiate lessons and support students with varying levels of mathematical understanding.
• Confidence in assessing student progress, identifying gaps in learning and implementing targeted interventions to improve GCSE outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, carers and colleagues.
• A patient, resilient and enthusiastic approach, with a genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
