Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a History Teacher for a supportive secondary school in Ashington, Northumberland. You will deliver engaging History lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute to a culture of aspiration, inclusion and academic excellence.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a History degree are required, with experience in secondary education. The role is full-time, starting September, long-term with potential for a permanent contract, and pays £163.19 - £265.12

Qualifications

QTS or equivalent required.
Degree in History or related Humanities subject required.
Experience teaching History at secondary level.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent subject knowledge.
A passion for inspiring young people through History.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to raising attainment and achievement.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
