Job summary

Heron Hill Primary School in Kendal is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our support staff. This fixed-term post is 30 hours per week during term time, for a Reception setting, with salaries pro rata to hours worked.

We value adaptable, reflective practitioners with a L2/3 TA qualification and EYFS experience who can contribute to safeguarding, inclusivity and building strong relationships with pupils.

The appointment is subject to Enhanced DBS and references.

Qualifications

• Hold a L2/3 TA qualification.
• Have experience of working with EYFS-aged pupils.
• Have experience of working with a range of pupil needs.
• Be willing to engage in ongoing professional learning and development linked to EYFS and supporting pupils.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our support staff team to ensure high educational provision for all pupils.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality EYFS learning in Reception.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning linked to EYFS and pupil support.
