Job summary

Heron Hill Primary School, Kendal, is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in Year 5 on a part-time fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The post is pro-rata to 27.5 hours per week during term time.

The successful candidate will hold a L2/3 TA qualification and have experience supporting upper KS2 pupils with diverse needs. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a L2/3 TA qualification.
• Have experience of working with upper KS2 aged pupils.
• Have experience of working with a range of pupil needs.
• Be willing to engage in ongoing professional learning and development linked to core subjects and supporting pupils.

• Contribute to ensuring a high standard of educational provision for all pupils.
