Heron Hill Primary School in Kendal is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our support staff. This fixed-term post is 30 hours per week during term time, for a Reception setting, with salaries pro rata to hours worked.

We value adaptable, reflective practitioners with a L2/3 TA qualification and EYFS experience who can contribute to safeguarding, inclusivity and building strong relationships with pupils.

The appointment is subject to Enhanced DBS and references.

Qualifications

• Hold a L2/3 TA qualification.
• Have experience of working with EYFS-aged pupils.
• Have experience of working with a range of pupil needs.
• Be willing to engage in ongoing professional learning and development linked to EYFS and supporting pupils.

EYFS Teaching Assistant

Level 2+, PCD5 (FTE £26,847 per annum pro rata – actual salary £18,640) 30 hours per week, term time only, fixed term until 31st August 2027 due to pupil numbers.
