Job summary

Speedy Group UK based at our customer site in Glasgow is seeking an Inspection Engineer to ensure equipment service schedules are up to date and to respond to customers during breakdowns. A full driving licence and mechanical engineering experience are essential, with experience in plant repairs and site inspections.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team are required.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Previous mechanical engineering experience essential, ideally in hire industry or similar field.
• Experience in plant repairs on sites and low level access repairs on site and on-site inspections.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team.
• Ability to support the ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment service schedules and ensure they are up to date.
• Respond to customer needs during equipment breakdowns.
• Support field operations with on-site inspections and maintenance.

Inspection Engineer

plays a key role in our operations, ensuring equipment service schedules are up to date and responding to our customers in their times of need, should equipment breakdown.

For us to help you on your journey to success, here's what you will need:

• Full driving licence
• Previous mechanical engineering experience is essential, ideally gained within the hire industry or other engineering field
• experience in plant repairs on sites and also low level access repairs on sites and also on site inspections
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
